A country festival of food, wine, produce and Chittering lifestyle on the fringes of Perth.
One of the largest and fastest growing free community events north of suburban Perth, A Taste of Chittering has been running since 2013 and this year upgrades its location to Nesci Estate Wine Farm in Lower Chittering, showcasing the produce, lifestyle and community that make Chittering such a unique place to live and discover.
Chittering itself is amongst the most rapid growing population regions on the fringes of Perth, with tree-changers opting for the greener, country lifestyle of its valleys and inclusiveness of its friendly communities. It has a lot to offer: contributor to the Northern Valleys ‘food bowl’ region of farms that provide Perth with fresh food, wine production from the Chittering Valley region, majestic valley landscapes, art and sculpture, and the fresh country air. The combination provides the recipe for a truly magical region – and sets the stage for celebrating A Taste of Chittering.
A Taste of Chittering is the primary showcase for the region, and is looked forward to by many – but couldn’t be sustained without financial and in-kind support from generous sponsor partner organisations:
- Avon Waste
- Darren West MLC & Laurie Graham MLC
- Martin Aldridge MLC
- Midland Brick
- Northern Valleys Packshed
- Shane Love MLA
- Slow Food Swan Valley & Eastern Regions
